What the provider says it does
HUD describes DataVendor as a marketplace that connects post-training suppliers with AI labs. Vendors can list codebases, raw data, tasksets, evals and RL environments, or respond to buyer briefs. HUD's guide for shutting-down startups says companies can sell private codebases and internal data to model labs, sometimes to more than one lab, and that HUD runs the process from NDA to payout. These are HUD's own statements and have not been independently verified.
